This office provides suicide awareness training such as Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and Ask, Care, Escort - Suicide Intervention (ACE-SI) and educates providers, veterans, families, and members of the community regarding risk factors and warning signs for suicide and treatment options. Additionally, suicide outreach and awareness is enhanced through briefings and face to face contacts with those in need.
