Environmental Training Overview
We provide guidance, training, and other support necessary for AKARNG to sustain its mission while also protecting the environment and ensuring stewardship of the natural and cultural resources in Alaska.
AKARNG is subject to annual environmental compliance training requirements. These include:
- Basic spill response training
- SPCC training for personnel at facilities with a Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plan
- Stormwater Pollution Prevention training
- Storage Tanks (ASTs and USTs)
- Hazardous Waste Management
